See Your Sleep Age
If you are the one lying awake at 2am, coaching for babies will not help. Find out what your own sleep is doing to your body, from your own bed.

What a sleep coach does, and when to see one
What a sleep coach actually does
Most sleep coaches teach babies to sleep
A sleep coach is usually a pediatric or infant sleep consultant. They build gentle routines so a baby or toddler falls asleep and stays asleep. That work is real, and it saves a lot of tired families. Dumbo Health does not do infant sleep training, and we will never pretend otherwise. We work with the adult whose own sleep stopped working.
- Pediatric coaching is for the child, not the parent
- Dumbo Health does not coach baby or toddler sleep
- Adult sleep needs a clinical look, not a bedtime routine
When the adult is the one struggling
If you are lying awake, start with numbers
Tired all day. Loud snoring. Waking at 3am for no clear reason. A partner who says you stop breathing. No routine fixes any of that. Adult sleep that breaks is worth measuring, not guessing about. Numbers give you a real starting point and something to bring to a clinician.
- You snore, gasp, or stop breathing in your sleep
- You wake up unrested no matter how early you turn in
- Earlier bedtimes, apps, and less coffee stopped helping
Two honest paths
Two honest paths
One gives you a person to work with. One puts your own numbers in your hands. Both have real upsides.
Plenty of people do both. Knowing your numbers first makes any visit to a local doctor a shorter, sharper conversation.
Who is behind this
The people who built it, and the ones who check it

WHY MEASURE FIRST
Search for a sleep coach in Los Angeles and a lot of what comes back is for babies. If you are the one not sleeping, where do you start?
You searched for a sleep coach, and a lot of what came back was help for babies and toddlers. But you are the one lying awake at 2am. You are the one dragging through the next day. That is a different problem, and it deserves a different first step. Ours is simple: measure. Poor sleep does not stay in the bedroom. It leaves traces in the body. Before you change your schedule, your habits, or your bedroom, it helps to see where you stand right now, in plain numbers you can actually look at.
The Dumbo Health Sleep Age panel looks at markers that researchers track alongside poor sleep. Inflammation, like hs-CRP and IL-6. Blood sugar and metabolism, like HbA1c, fasting insulin, and the hunger hormones leptin and ghrelin. Heart and vessel markers like ApoB and Lp(a). Hormones like cortisol, melatonin, and thyroid. Kidney and liver markers. Nutrients like vitamin D, iron, and magnesium. Markers of biological aging. All of it becomes one number you can hold onto: your Sleep Age. Easy to read. Easy to explain to someone else. Easy to check again later to see if what you are doing is moving it.
Hormones
The chemistry that sets your body clock and your recovery overnight.
- Cortisol, morning and daily curve
- Melatonin
- Thyroid (TSH)
Blood sugar and metabolism
How your body handles sugar and hunger signals tracks with how you sleep.
- HbA1c
- Fasting insulin
- Leptin and ghrelin
Inflammation
Short and broken sleep is associated with higher inflammatory markers.
- hs-CRP
- IL-6
- White blood cell count
Nutrients
Common shortfalls that show up in people who sleep badly.
- Vitamin D
- Ferritin and iron
- Magnesium
This panel does not diagnose anything. It cannot tell you why you are sleeping badly, and it is not a replacement for seeing a clinician. It measures, so you have real numbers to bring to one.
You have seen what the panel measures. The only thing it cannot tell you is what yours would say.
